BOARD: Filiz Genca (she/her)

Filiz is Sr. Director of New Partners and Growth Products at Asurion. Prior to joining Asurion, Filiz was the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Product for a Series B healthtech startup and continues to advise startups across product, marketing, and operations. Filiz spent over 10 years at Amazon in a variety of product and leadership roles. She was a former consultant with Deloitte and worked as an analyst for the CIA.

Originally from Nashville, Filiz has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a MBA degree from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.

Filiz is passionate about community building, entrepreneurship, innovation, and arts/design. She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her two daughters Emilia and Colette (Coco).
