The Ambassador Board (A-Board) exists to provide direct volunteer support, advocacy, and fundraising to assist Friends of the Children in fulfilling its mission to impact generational change by empowering youth who are facing the greatest obstacles through relationships with professional mentors- 12+ years, no matter what.
Joshua served as a Director of Sales for a Fortune 10 telecommunications company. For over 15 years Joshua has developed an extensive background in people leadership, retail sales, customer care, public speaking, leadership development, and sales training. As a certified Executive Coach, Joshua works with leaders as well as their teams to create spaces of self-reflection and the uncovering of purpose, leading to great employee engagement, improved business metrics, and workplace morale. He’s also a Master Practitioner in Energy Leadership Index and uses this framework to help professionals uncover their purpose and measure their progress. You may catch Joshua DJing and or MCing a wedding as he spends some of his weekends playing the hottest music for his clients! Joshua is married to his partner Amber, and they have three children Charley, Skylar, and Tyson.
Morgan Jaldon is a Marketing Manager, with a background in communications/ social media for nonprofits. She was born in San Francisco and grew up in the Bay Area before moving to Seattle in 2017. She is also a running coach and helps lead a youth running program. Morgan loves to spend her free time with her English bulldog Miles or reading books.
Makenzie is an Executive Assistant for Talent Acquisition at Amazon. She attended Portland State University and received a B.S. in Community Health Education. Growing up in Portland, her parents shared their passion for Friends of the Children with her. When she moved to Seattle and learned about the Ambassador Board, she knew it would be an amazing way to continue to support Friends in her new town.
Makenzie has a goldendoodle named Remi. Being near or on the water is her favorite way to recharge.
