Development Manager

The Development Manager (DM) is responsible for carrying out Friends-Seattle fundraising strategies through annual fund campaigns, special events, sponsorships, and major gift solicitation. The DM is a key member of the development & communications team (DevComm), which includes the Chief Development & Communications Officer (CDCO), Grants Officer (GO), Communications Manager (CM), Development Coordinator (DC), and Marketing Coordinator (MC). The DM partners with DevComm team to execute a successful annual fundraising campaign. This is a full-time, exempt position.

Professional Mentor, K-5 and Teen

We are currently hiring K-5 and Teen Professional Mentors!

K-5 mentors work with youth in kindergarten through 5th grade. Teen mentors work with youth in middle and high school. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work intensively with youth alongside their families and caregivers to develop trusting relationships, set positive expectations, nurture talents and abilities, and teach life and academic skills.
