Randi Nathanson (she/her)

Founder, The Nathanson Group (Retired)

Randi S. Nathanson is an executive leader, innovative entrepreneur, and experienced transactional and regulatory attorney. In the early 1990s, Randi took a leap of faith and opened her own practice, growing it into a multimillion-dollar firm. While successfully managing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of her business, from the human resources function to billings and collections to business development, Randi built a client base that included the representation of numerous high-profile clients in complex transactions.

Her innovative approach to problem-solving also led to the development of proprietary software solutions (Approvalign® and Approvatrack®) that were unique to her profession and her clients’ business activities. Randi’s commitment to sharing her knowledge and expertise is also evident through her teaching at the college and postgraduate levels, including her recent appointment as an ancillary faculty member at the University of Washington School of Law.

Randi’s professional history is complemented by a juris Doctor of Law from the George Washington University where she graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Illinois where she graduated cum laude. She is currently a member of the bar in Washington, Oregon, New Mexico, and Washington, D.C. With her unique blend of business and entrepreneurial acumen and legal and regulatory expertise, her strengths in strategic innovation, visionary leadership, team development, and client-focused service, as well as the knowledge gained from her participation in programs such as the Woman Board Directors Development Program at the University of Washington and the NYSE Board Services Networking Summit, Randi is poised to contribute tremendous value to any board.

Currently, Randi provides keen insights as a board observer and advisor at Marquis Companies, a privately owned healthcare company, and as a member of the George Washington Law Alumni Association Board.
