Hi, my name's Helena Haase! I’m a South Korean adoptee and grew up in the Bay Area, California. I graduated from Clark University in 2020 and studied psychology and sociology. After I graduated, I moved to Seattle for an AmeriCorp program working in an elementary school. I’m still new to the area, but I’ve loved going on hikes, wandering the farmer's markets, and trying new food places!
In my free time, I enjoy photography, painting, cooking, and watching TV. I’m also passionate about highlighting adoptee voices and social justice!
My top 3 favorite foods are japchae (Korean noodles), Thai yellow curry, and pizza! My favorite colors are blue and yellow. A few things that are still on my Washington bucket list include visiting art museums, the Seattle Aquarium, and hiking around Mt. Rainier National Park!
