Osmir 'Oz' Diaz is based out of Seattle with roots from Washington D.C. As an Indigenous Latina raised in the D.C. area, advocacy and community amplification have been a constant throughout her life. From beginnings in Latino and LGBTQ+ community outreach to award-winning involvements with Girl Scouts of the Nation's Capital, she now holds a decade in experience with various nonprofits across Seattle.
Led by her passion for people, Oz is dedicated to amplifying the stories of organizations through human-first creative strategies. Her campaigns have been featured in publications such as the Global Giving Tuesday Guide, The Washington Post, and various podcasts. Oz landed at Friends to continue to apply her skillset at an organization with an impactful mission, especially one that generates transformation in communities for generations to come.
