BOARD: Prosper Nwokocha

Prosper is a first generation Nigerian-American who was raised in the Dallas, Texas area. He comes from a close-knit family that highly values education, community, and giving back.

Prosper has an undergraduate degree from Columbia University, and an MBA from Texas A&M University. He moved from Texas to the Puget Sound area in 2017 to continue his budding career as a Corporate Finance and Strategy Specialist at Microsoft. This past October, however, he joined a rapidly growing food automation startup, called Picnic, as their new Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. Currently, he works at the Bezos Academy.

Prosper is passionate about helping others, outreach, entrepreneurship, innovation, and relationship-building. He enjoys playing and watching sports, volunteering, traveling, cooking AND eating, trying new things, and spending time with family and friends…especially his 3 year-old daughter, Semaya.
