Staff: Richmond Hurd (he/him)

Richmond has been working with young people since he was one himself. He is passionate about showing people more choices and life paths than they'd ever seen, helping people believe in something they never knew, and disproving stereotypes.

Richmond started working at Friends through his childhood best friend's mom telling him to stop working in places where he wasn't from (Bellevue, Kent, North Seattle, Covington) and come back to the neighborhoods he grew up in to make an impact. He's been here ever since.

Richmond loves anything that involves competition. He considers anything fun a "vacation". Richmond also loves spending time with his family and his network.
